The Customer Advocate Egg Timer
is my version of the traditional
Sales Funnel.
Which is the standard way of considering the sales process.

For me, it says ‘Hit and Miss’ Fling out an idea and see if enough people are interested in your product or idea.

The concept is target as many people as you can and hope that 5% of the people it reaches finally buy something from you. For some business this is a route they have decided is there approach and is purposeful. This is fine for a large business with a big marketing budget and the understanding it might take 3 years to turn to profit.
For many in a position where they have neither the finances or time, surely a more targeted approach makes sense. Starting at the very beginning is key – Business Strategy, followed by a detailed Marketing Strategy that has clearly identified the Customer Profile.

Rather than having to navigate countless sales leads with people who are not a good fit for you and your business, why not spend some more time targeting the right people give them fantastic service all the way through the Egg Timer and meet them at the other end, where they will become your greatest advocate and unltimately a fully fledged member of your sales team.

They will happily tell people about your business, for free, as they got what they were after and had a great time doing it. I hate ‘win win’ but when both side are happy – maybe it’s ‘happy happy’.
